When Poetry Gets Horny: A Case Study in Sex Poet Syndrome

Akram Louiz, self-declared "first class engineer lieutenant in the Merchant Navy" and aspiring poet, has recently turned his navigational expertise to the treacherous waters of theoretical physics. He now fights a noble crusade, not against sea storms, but against Special Relativity itself, which he believes has bewitched the world with its wicked light-veneration rituals.

Akram Louiz

Despite his naval rank, Akram promptly abandoned ship when challenged to point out a single mathematical error in a rigorous derivation of the Lorentz transformation that I posted on ResearchGate. When confronted with clean, bulletproof math, he responded not with counter-arguments, but with the theological insight that “Einstein’s relativity is considered holy and sacred since it venerates light”. Galileo would be proud... or confused. Probably both. See the screenshot below for reference:

Akram Louiz

Rather than engage with the content, Akram bravely fled the battlefield after dropping anchor with a deeply flawed paper attempting to explain away the negative result of the Michelson-Morley experiment. With all the rigor of a soggy compass, he steered hard into the reef of “aether revival” and waved at the lighthouse of logic while declaring it fake.

But Akram is not just a mariner or an amateur physicist, he is also a poet... or so he claims. A bard of the bizarre, a Casanova of cringe. Among the verses he dedicated to one of my friends who followed our discussion on ResearchGate, we find the following lyrical gems:

Akram Louiz

Modern poetry has certainly evolved (or devolved...) since the days of Rimbaud. His passion for combining physical ignorance with romantic disaster is nothing short of groundbreaking. Like Schrödinger’s cat, his intellect exists in a superposition of dead serious and just plain dead.

In a moment of sublime honesty, Akram once declared that he would be “happy to lose his job”. I'm sure the Merchant Navy will fulfill his desire when they will hear the echo of his poetry. May the Merchant Navy’s navigational charts never intersect with Einstein’s spacetime diagrams, lest they fall into a singularity of shame.

As I was checking the content of my spam folder, I just noticed that Akram sent me an email couple weeks ago. Since our last interaction was more than a year ago, it testifies that psychosis is like a volcano that can wake up any time. His message below shows that his sense of poetry is still intact:

Akram Louiz

Conclusion

Akram Louiz sails boldly into the academic ocean with no compass, no lifeboat, and a deeply confused monkey of love on his back. May history remember him, not for his contributions to physics, which are nonexistent, but for his valiant, vaguely erotic attempts to confuse everyone around him.
